Doon sa story na iyon, David was only 6’12 in height against a Giant named Goliath.
During a war against the Philistines nagkataon na si David ay nautusan na magdala ng pagkain for his brothers na kasama sa war.
When David knew na kung matatalo sila they will become servants ng mga kalabaan at alam niya that it is not God’s will na mangyari iyon at hindi din siya papayag ay nilapitan niya ang King and bravely asked for his blessing to fight the arrogant Giant.
Even though galit na galit ang oldest brother niya at minamaliit siya dahil hindi nga nila nakayang labanan yung higanteng si Goliath, siya pa kaya na their youngest brother at walang kaalam-alam sa war dahil all his life ang kanyang ginagawa ay ang magbantay ng karnero and protect them against the lions and other preys.
Because David believe in God at naniniwala siya na kayang-kaya niyang talunin si Goliath… you know what happened next?
With just a piece of a stone , nagawa ni David na talunin ang higanteng si Goliath and with the enemy’s sword he cut off Goliath’s head and they won the battle.
The moral of the story?
If you believe in God and in yourself first , then you can conquer any GIANTS na mahaharap mo sa buhay mo. That’s where the real strength is.
